Sunday is Kids Central
Sunday School is the most fundamental component of Central’s ministry with children. The Sunday School hour is from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Room 204 is home base.
This winter’s theme is, “Bible Experiences.” It will share the story with kids in a variety of ways through story, music, cooking, computers, games, science, art, discussion and mission. Lessons will be interactive and hands-on, both faith-forming and fun! All children kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome! Our teachers are Holly Baker teamed with David Paulson and Patricia Swanson teamed with Kristin Frang. We have special guest teachers each week.
The Nursery is open on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. until the end of the second worship service. It is for babies and children from birth through five years of age.
For all church events and selected other activities the nursery is open on request to infants and toddlers needing child care. Our Nursery Director is Julie Poe. Her assistant is Magan Morningstar. Donny Nunez serves as an extra hand.
The nursery is located on the second floor just above the Muskegon Street door off of the parking lot. (Please access the nursery from the elevator or the stairs near the sanctuary or the offices. For the protection of children, we keep the doors at the top of the Muskegon Street parking lot entrance locked to the outside at all times. These doors are used for emergency egress only.)
