Important notes for parents

Because children are gifts from God and blessed by Our Lord, Central takes very seriously its responsibilities to encourage children to become  disciples of Jesus Christ and to nurture them in the Christian faith.

Our children’s ministry mission is “to provide a safe environment for nurture and learning where children of all ages can learn about God and the Bible.”

We accomplish this mission by providing a  Director of Family Ministries who works with the Children’s Ministry Team to carry out quality ministries with children. We have a fine team of teachers and care givers whose efforts bless the children. Our corps of volunteers has been carefully recruited and screened. Superior facilities, equipment and materials support effective ministries.

Our core values are:

• Partnering with parents to raise children in the faith.

• The safety and protection of all children 

Our ministry with children consists of five components, which we prioritize as follows:

 1)  Sunday School
 2)  Junior Church (and “Big Church”)
 3)  Vacation Bible School
 4)  Summer Church Camp for children
 5)  Other activities and programs
